The apartment sits on the 4th floor (equivalent to the 5th floor in the USA) of a no-elevator building near the corner of Rue Hallé and Rue Rémy Dumoncel. If you are feeling adventurous, just 700 meters (around 0.4 miles) from the apartment there are tours to explore Les Catacombes de Paris, the infamous underground labyrinth of a tunnel system where some 6 million people are laid to rest. 

For access to Paris’ subway system, the Mouton-Duvernet Station, located 350 meters from the apartment, allows you to take line 4 of the Paris metro. Also located within 350 meters is the Alésia Station, where you can also take line 4.
