Imagine yourself walking into this recently renovated alcove studio located on Bedford Avenue between N 8th Street & N 9th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in a building constructed in 1901. The 3rd floor (2nd European floor) Williamsburg apartment is furnished simply and offers a north-western exposure of the street.
This NYC apartment features hardwood floors. The large kitchen is bright due to the 2 windows, which allow for the morning sun to shine through and brighten the room. To the right of the kitchen you’ll find the tiled bathroom which features a bathtub with a European feel, a shower, and a window. On the other side of the kitchen you’ll find a separate office space, with plenty of shelf and closet space to store all of your things! The office opens up to the large living room which features a sofa bed, a flat screen TV with Satellite included, and 2 windows, which overlook Bedford Avenue. Continue walking through the living room and you’ll find yourself in the second living room, which features a double bed, and a window.
Williamsburg is a bustling neighborhood, with plenty to do, but here are some suggestions to get you started. If you happen to be a fan of beer, then be sure to head over to The Brooklyn Brewery (0.3 miles/450 meters), which has a variety of beer, to fit your taste! The microbrewery offers tastings as well as tours which offers an inside look at the creation process. McCarren Park (0.5 miles/ 800 meters) allows for you to unwind and play some games. The park has state-of-the-art athletic facilities including tennis courts, baseball, football, and soccer fields, as well as a track. When you need to cool off, don’t sweat, the park also features a pool. There are countless of restaurants nearby, but a popular favorite is Anna Maria Pizza (269 feet/82 meters). If you care to do your own food shopping, then you’re in luck, there are plenty of stores on Bedford Ave. If you have some downtime then head to Nitehawk Cinema (0.4 miles/650 meters), which is known for playing indie films.
If this trendy area isn’t enough for you, you’re only 1 subway stop away from Manhattan. Just head to the station at Bedford Avenue / North 7 Street (331 feet/ 100 meters), and you’ll be in Manhattan in no time. If you need any maps, menus, or recommendations, the owner is willing to provide you with them to help make your stay more enjoyable.
