I had a wonderful stay at this apartment for the summer! While the studio was quite small, the space was definitely maximized to the best extent and it felt perfect for my short term stay. The bed was very large and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and hot water. The best thing about this place was definitely the location, being a 12 minute walk from the Louvre and a 5 minute walk to the metro station. The neighborhood itself was very nice and safe. The landlord was very communicative and easy to work with as well. I would rent from him again.

A few minor critiques include: no indoor bike parking (though there is a bike rack just outside!), the walls in the apartment building are somewhat thin so you can hear people walking on the staircase, and I had some issues with the monthly cleaning/linen change (but they were sorted out).

This apartment was perfect for me as a single student because it was around the corner from my school and very close to multiple grocery stores and other shops. While the apartment is on the smaller side, the use of space was amazing and it had every possible amenity I could have ever needed. Towels, sheets, pillows, coffee maker, dryer/washer, pots, pans, plates, cups, everything!! The heated towel rack was great during the winter and the wall unit heater also works very well. The building is down a nice quiet street and the walls seemed very thick as I never really heard my neighbors above me. The landlord was wonderful and was always available via text message if I needed any assistance with anything (his English is great). Overall, I found this apartment to be perfect for my study abroad time and am very thankful that New York Habitat helped me find it. The neighborhood is also extremely safe and I never felt worried about walking home alone at night.

The apartment furnishings included everything anyone would ever need. The couch was very cozy and it reclined, which was awesome. The bed was unreal comfortable, and the old sheets were replaced with fresh ones as part of the very thorough monthly cleaning. The apartment also contained a combination washer/dryer, which saved me a ton of time being able to do laundry inside the apartment.

Also, this apartment's shower definitely deserves its own paragraph. No lie it has the dopest shower on La Rive Gauche: not only did it come strapped with an overhead shower faucet, but it also came stacked with 6 side jets AND one of those versatile shower handles you can use to get to those hard-to-reach areas. But we ain't stoppin' there. You want a light in your shower? This badboy got a big ol' ring light up top so you can shower in the dark. Tryin' to get yo groove on? No worries, my man, super shower got you with a built-in radio, and speakers that straight slap. Super shower doesn't pull its punches when it comes to bass. I'm not playing, there really is a sound system in this shower, it's not a fantasy, it's reality.

Furthermore, just in general, the decor of the apartment was very tasteful and really made the resident feel like he/she was at home in Paris. Any common cooking utensil or kitchen item is included, and not just that, but all the kitchenware matches, which is a nice touch. There was plenty of shelf space for everything I brought over from the States too, and even though the studio apartment was relatively small, it never felt too small at all.

In regards to the apartment owner, he was incredibly responsive to any and all questions I had, and was very easy to deal with. Even with the simplest of my questions, he always took the time to explain things to me over the phone or even in person until I understood how something worked or how to fix something, which I appreciated immensely. He never hesitated to call an expert whenever a problem arose that I couldn't solve, which also was very kind of him. He was always available to answer any questions I had about Paris in general or any other problem I had. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with him, and I wish all landlords were like him.
