In the heart of Paris, this 1-bathroom studio apartment is both stylish and practical. Climb to the first floor (the 2nd floor in the USA) of an elevator building and you will find this fully furnished apartment with a washing machine and a dryer waiting for someone to come along. It sits near the intersection of Rue de Sèvres and Boulevard des Invalides in Paris’s 7th Arrondissement—the same arrondissement as the Eiffel Tower—in Sèvres Babylone.
This space looks like a cottage almost as much as an apartment, though the city sights out the window will not let you forget where you are. Here, you might imagine yourself kicking back on the sofa after a long day. Kick back far enough and you will want to pull out the sofa double bed. From your perch, you can survey the decorative fireplace, blonde hardwood floor, and rib-cage-like ceiling beams. When the relaxing is done, it is easy to step into the open kitchen and toss together a snack using the microwave and coffeemaker or pull something out of the fridge. One of the benefits of the studio layout is that you can watch the TV while you sit at the dining table to enjoy a meal. In the all-white bathroom you will find a shower.
To the north, you are surrounded by government buildings. To the south, you will find museums, movie theaters, and other activities. The Musée Bourdelle is an art museum, while the Musée de la Poste celebrates history. If you fancy the theater, you may enjoy Le Grand Point-Virgule. If movies are more your thing, give Pathé Parnasse a try. These locations are each within a kilometer (around 0.62 miles) of the apartment and 750 meters (around 0.46 miles) of one another. The Esplanade Jacques Chaban-Delmas park is around ¾ a kilometer (around half a mile) from the furnished rental.
On the corner of the block, the Duroc Subway Station services the 10 and 13 trains. A 1.3 kilometer (around 0.8 mile) drive will take you to the Falguière Station, where the 12 train runs.
