I spent a nice time in this apartment. Generally, I think everything was good, the only thing I didn't like it was the absence of natural lighting. It was a pretty dark apartment and I think that the pictures that are showed on New York Habitat's web site don't show the real conditions of the space. When I visited the apartment before to book it, it was late in the afternoon so I couldn't realize that the space was so dark. This is something I found out during the time I have been there. |

The internet was horrible, barely ever worked. Heating was inconsistent sometimes it was warm and sometimes it was really really cold. The room got dirty with the way the air condition vent was set up during the summer. It was a lot better after the unit was removed. Building often smelled like smoke on the 1st floor (not ground level). |

My Apartment fits perfectly to what I need. I had everything for living a half year abroad. I love the location which is very centered and very close to 1 Ave where you can take the "L" train. My neighbours were very nice and everybody helped each other, it was a very friendly atmosphere. Wilson & Carmen are extremly supportive and nice whenever you had problems with something. I can highly recommend my apartment and I would choose it again for my next visit in New York. |

The apartment was very functional, but a little too basic for my taste. It could be more comfortable, for example with little lamps, not only bright light from the ceiling. |

We have lamps that can be provided upon request. We (Wilson and Carmen) are always eager to make our tenants as comfortable as possible. The "college-kids" are no longer tenants in the building. |
