The location was great in that it was near many great spots in the East Village as well as the train, but I did notice the intersection of 13th and 1st usually was in worse condition than many nearby cross-streets. The apartment was great-- even better than the pictures. A ton of natural light! Very fresh and clean. The building was on the older side and stuff, but not to the point of being problematic. It's a long walk up the stairs, but you get used to it. I had a lot of friends paying a lot more for a lot less. All in all, I'm very glad I rented from this place. I would recommend it to a friend for sure. |

Pictures don't do it justice -- There's new furniture, a big TV with roku/all the apps, good wifi, etc. Location is phenominal and apartment is super well stocked. It being on the 5th floor was a much less big deal than I expected. Its decently spacious too -- bathroom is super well lit as well. |

Neil, thank you so much for this review. I am really happy to hear you enjoyed this apartment and its location. New York does get hot in the summer so it is a good idea to leave the door open so you can benefit from the A/C in the bedroom as well. |

This apartment was a great find for our 1 month stay in the city. Very clean, quiet and the perfect size for 2 people. Great restaurants & shopping close by. The only downside was the 5 (really 6) flights of stairs which made moving in a little challenging. Thank you for a great stay in NYC! |

Very nice and well located apartment. Quiet building and excellent assistance. My only complain at first was about how loud was the heater, but it was fixed on the very next day. |
